The UNM Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) is a two-year research program providing financial, academic and professional support for undergraduate students from underrepresented groups.

The MMUF program is designed to encourage fellows to enter Ph.D. programs that prepare students for professorial careers in order to increase diversity in the academy.

This year’s application deadline is December 3rd and the MMUF is recruiting undergraduate students in the MMUF fields who are graduating in May 2022.

The current MMUF students are coordinating the student-led information sessions.

  • September 25 (Wednesday) 12:00-1:00 pm at African American Student Service
  • October 1 (Tuesday) 12:00-1:00 pm at El Centro de la Raza
  • October 4 (Friday) 12:00-1:00 pm at Women's Resource Center
