When: Wed, May 20 2020 12:00am - Fri, May 22 2020 12:00am

Where: University of Delaware

Dear CRSEA community,

We hope this message finds you all well. Like many other organizations and higher educational institutions, Critical Race Studies in Education Association (CRSEA) is currently monitoring updates from health and public officials on the COVID-19 virus. The E-Board has met recently and communicated with the University of Delaware (UD), our host institution for the 2020 CRSEA conference.
The university is encouraging all campus gatherings/conferences to be postponed and/or re-scheduled. We are also aware that many of our universities are beginning to limit and/or deny domestic travel. Therefore, CRSEA will be postponing the May 2020 conference at this time. We are working to find a suitable fall date (preferably in October 2020) to hold our annual meeting. Our goal is to find a date that is amenable to UD to host our conference program. The program committee has completed all reviews and made decisions on acceptances so they will be communicating with all who submitted proposals in the next week. After a decision on a new conference date is made, the E-Board will then update everyone and begin the process of finalizing the program.  We also understand that rescheduling may create financial issues for our members.  If you have already paid for conference registration and would like to be refunded,  please contact us at crseainfo@gmail.com before May 1st. However, if you registered and do not request a refund, you will be already registered for the fall conference!
Thank you for your patience and consideration.  We hope to see you in Fall 2020 at UD, and stay safe and healthy.

CRSEA Executive Board,
Erica R. Dávila, President
Enrique Aleman Jr., Vice President
Kenzo Sung, Documentarian
Nichole Garcia, Treasurer
Cathy Duarte Gastelum, Graduate Student Representative
