Living and Learning in Contentious Times: Cultivating Diversity, Community Wellness and Healing (Conference Day: March 29th, 2019 from 10am-7pm- FREE in the SUB and Travelstead Hall)

This conference is hosted by the Diversity Committee, College of Education. (Please see the flyer for the Call for Proposal.)

The goal of the 2019 College of Education sponsored Graduate Student Conference is to draw on the unique strengths of the UNM and surrounding community, our students, and faculty to inspire growth and efficacy throughout the life of individuals, families, and communities. We acknowledge the challenges that students, staff, faculty, and community face in current social, cultural, and political climates. As such, this conference will bring together students, staff, faculty, and community members to present research, pedagogy, practice, and activism in a way that draws attention to the intersections between diverse identities, wellness, and healing.
